Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2025
This policy explains what cookies Made to Thrive uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly and provide information about how visitors use them.
What cookies we use
Essential cookies
These are required for the website to function and cannot be turned off.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
mtt_region | Detects your region (EU/US) to show the appropriate consent experience | 1 year |
mtt_consent | Stores your cookie preferences | 1 year |
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use our website. We use this data to improve the site.
| Service | Cookie(s) | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | _ga, _ga_* | Page views, traffic sources, user behaviour (anonymised) |
| Microsoft Clarity | _clck, _clsk, CLID | Heatmaps and session recordings (anonymised) |
EU/UK visitors: These are only set after you give consent. US visitors: These are set by default, in line with US standard practice.
Marketing cookies
These are used to personalise advertising and track campaign performance. We currently do not run paid advertising campaigns, so marketing cookies are off by default for all visitors.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use:
- Google — analytics and tag management. See Google's cookie policy.
- Microsoft (Clarity) — session recording. See Microsoft's privacy statement.
- Klaviyo — email marketing (only if you subscribe). See Klaviyo's privacy notice.
Managing your preferences
EU and UK visitors
When you first visit our site, we show a cookie consent banner. You can choose to accept all cookies or essential cookies only.
You can update your preferences at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for madetothrive.co and refreshing the page.
US visitors
Analytics cookies are enabled by default. You can opt out at any time by contacting us at hello@madetothrive.co.
Browser settings
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings:
Note that blocking all cookies may affect how the website works.
Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode v2. When you decline analytics cookies, Google Analytics uses modelled data rather than tracking cookies — meaning we see aggregate trends without identifying you individually.
